Spirit Card

Materials Used:

Mirah�s Crafts BatiKit� in Sunrise and Wild Rose

Mirah�s Crafts Batik Ribbon Yarn in Peachy

Hand-Dyed Hobbies fibers

Jacquard Products Lumiere Paints

For this design, we used Halo Pink Gold & Pearlescent Magenta

Art Glitter & Art Glitter�s Fabric Adhesive

Card stock of your choice for a 5� x 7� card

For this design, we used a Strathmore White Creative Card with deckle

What You Will Need:
Scissors
Paintbrush
Adhesive
Pencil
Flower Die Cut (optional)

Instructions:
STEP 1: Mark 1/3rd of the card on the bottom with a light pencil line and use a paint brush paint � of this bottom section with Halo Pink Gold Lumiere paint.
STEP 2: Paint the rest of the bottom section with Pearlescent Magenta to the edge of the deckle. Use the Halo Pink Gold to paint the deckle edge and let dry. You may need to use two coats if the paint is too transparent.
STEP 3: Cut 4 strips of Mirah�s Crafts batik ribbon yarn in Peachy to fit across the card. Starting above the Lumiere paint, adhere the strips evenly spaced out.
STEP 4: Trace a four petal flower or use a flower die cut on a sheet of Wild Rose BatiKit. Place on the lower right hand side of the card.
STEP 5: Trace the same four petal flower or use the die cut on a sheet of Sunrise BatiKit to cut out two flowers. Remove the adhesive backing and adhere back to back. Adhere over the top of the Wild Rose flower.
STEP 6: To create the glitter pollen, use the fabric adhesive to dot on the center of the flower and sprinkle with Art Glitter.
STEP 7: Cut a strip of fiber (s) and adhere along the length of ribbon at the top of the Lumiere paint.
